SawBird Scroll Saw Blades
SawBird.com is pleased to offer this new line of NIQUA scroll saw blades for sale! These are excellent German made scroll saw blades. The Germans are still the go to guys when it comes to saw blades.
These NIQUA blades are made from hardened steel, they are very sharp and stay sharp longer than any blade I have used to date. I have also found they are less likely to heat up and loss their temper. I don't mean they are less likely to have a tantrum, what I mean is they don't loss their hardness from over heating. Some blades I have used will turn blue after a short time. This indicates the blade has over heated and lost hardness and will go dull much faster.
I find these NIQUA blades to be the best blade for cutting the thickness of material used for Intarsia woodworking. The SawBird blades come in 5 inch pinless style only.

Tariffs have been in the news lately as I am sure you are aware, and they have found my small business.
So reluctantly I have to make some pricing adjustments. I have tried to keep prices as reasonable as I can.
Hopefully things will return to normal soon.
US Customers can enjoy a 20% discount because of different currency value.

Shipping / Handling Costs
Due to a very unreliable postal service, I am no longer able to guarantee delivery to US customers with standard postage.
As a result only postage offered to US address is a faster service with tracking for $20.00/Canadian, approx.$16.00 US.
Canadian customers can still challenge their luck with standard postage, no guarantee, or faster with tracking $20.00.
Shipping costs vary. They are as follows:
$6.00 in Canada (or $20 with tracking)
$20.00 in the United States of America (with mandatory tracking)
$12.00 in other destinations
Blades and patterns shipped together for one S/H charge.
Pricing
It is difficult to say where costs may go with all the uncertainty at the moment with tariffs and counter tariffs. I hope to be able to hold these prices as long as possible.
I continue to produce my own patterns, and while there has been a modest rise in paper costs per pattern, I intend to maintain the current pricing for them.
