SawBird.com is pleased to offer this new line of scroll saw blades for sale! These are excellent German made scroll saw blades. The Germans are still the go to guys when it comes to saw blades.

These blades are made from hardened steel, they are very sharp and stay sharp longer than any blade I have used to date. I have also found they are less likely to heat up and loss their temper. I don't mean they are less likely to have a tantrum, what I mean is they don't loss their hardness from over heating. Some blades I have used will turn blue after a short time. This indicates the blade has over heated and lost hardness and will go dull much faster.

I find these blades to be the best blade for cutting the thickness of material used for Intarsia woodworking. The SawBird blades come in 5 inch pinless style only.

Saw Blade Lubricants

Lubricant Sticks will greatly extend the life of your scroll saw blades by reducing friction and preventing the blade from getting hot and losing its hardness. Each stick is 8 inches long, 1 inch in diameter and it should last a lifetime.

Saw blade lubricant prolongs saw blade life and helps keep blades from plugging with pitch and saw dust. Most helpful when cutting hardwoods and woods like pine that have a lot of pitch. These lubricant sticks will lubricate other saw blades as well. I use one on my band saw blades all the time. The blades cut faster and smoother. You can actually tell the difference!
